STATEMENT FROM THE ARTIST
Throughout my high school career, I have learned so much from art making and how well I can express myself. I believe by keeping art in my future, I can innovate and create not only through art but throughout the field of business. Creativity is also important in the role of my mental health and how it releases tension. The exploration is endless and the creation is always new.

October 2021 ARTIST OF THE MONTH -  Jasmine Stringer

STATEMENT FROM THE ARTIST

Art is something that lets me escape from reality and stress. The art room has become a safe space for me to explore my creativity, and one of my bigger sources of happiness. It is so rewarding when an artwork is finally finished and all the time and effort put in shows. I will always enjoy using art to help others in my community in addition to helping myself in relieving my stress.

SEPTEMBER 2021 ARTIST OF THE MONTH -  EMMA YANCEY

STATEMENT FROM THE ARTIST

As an IB art student I strive to create quality art usually focused around mental health, however, in a more general sense, I typically gravitate towards ink art. While I love trying new things and expressing myself in different ways, ink will forever stay one of my favorite medias.
