IN ORDER TO BECOME AND OFFICER: First Year = Active member of NAHS Second Year = Serve on Executive Council (*can serve as a committee chair first year on Executive Council) Third/Fourth Year = Eligible for Officer Assignment Officers will be announced at Inductions each year. Officers are required to serve on Executive Council (can only miss 1 meeting) and on Fine Arts Council (you will earn service hours for FAC meetings).
President: (aided by Scholarship Chair) Priority - Conducts club and officer meetings and oversees the chapter ×Provides leadership and develops strategies for strengthening membership ×Initiates activities and programs and new ideas to promote NAHS.
Scholarship Chair: ( Works with President) ×Maintain lists of art shows and competition opportunities ×Promote and educate members regarding scholarship opportunities
Vice President: (aided by Celebration Chair) Priority - Plans and organizes Induction Ceremony and Banquet in Fall; Art Show and Awards Ceremony in Spring ×It is the responsibility of the vice president to write and submit club reports to NAEA ×In the absence of the president, the vice president assumes all responsibilities and may be required to facilitate meetings
Celebration Chair: ( Works with Vice President) ×Help plan and oversee celebrations of membership (Induction, Holiday party, Awards banquet)
Secretary: (aided by Membership Chair) Priority - Handles the bookkeeping, maintains the calendar, and records all attendance for the organization ×The secretary's job is to maintain up to date records for the organization, including membership ×Keep and help update meeting notes ×Notify members of forthcoming meetings, events, and general correspondence
Membership Chair: (Works with Secretary) ×Plan and oversee events, activities and membership drives
Parliamentarian/Historian: (aided by Education Chair) Priority - Attend and document events, and update all social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) ×Communicate the success of our members to school administration ×Promote communication of the organization
Education Chair: (Works with Historian) ×Plan and oversee community outreach programs and events (ie; SpARTan Camp, Carnegie Collaboration)
